Central School of English

Central School of English was founded in 1968, and is currently celebrating its 50th year of leading students to a deep understanding and confident acquisition of the English language. Centred in the heart of London, our school is on the doorstep of the many cultural and artistic high-points of the city, of which students can take advantage through our bi-weekly organised activities, and during their free weekends.

Our educational methodology is founded on personal attention: our small class sizes of maximum 8 students allow for a close collaboration between teacher and students, while the pre-arrival needs analysis test allows us to tailor the lessons to their individual goals and requirements. We believe in education through immersion in language and culture: within our social and discursive school environment, students are joined every break and lunchtime with their tutors, while the option of staying with host families allows them to gain further confidence and fluency in their spoken English.
