Spinnaker School of English is right in the heart of the university district, in central Portsmouth, a typical English seaside city on the south coast of England. We also offer you the latest technology, including large screen televisions with internet and a multimedia room. Students can enjoy free internet access in our Media Room, where they can also study. We also have a student chill-out room with a wide screen T.V, DVD player and a range of movies. There is Wi-Fi throughout the college.

We are a short walk from spectacular long beaches in Southsea, or you can you shop at the waterside designer shopping outlet centre, Gunwharf Quays, which also contains several restaurants, cinemas and nightclubs.
Portsmouth is a famous historic naval city, and you will be able to enjoy visiting a variety of cultural attractions, from the Historic Dockyard or Charles Dickens’s Birthplace , to Queen Victoria’s Osborne House on the nearby Isle of Wight (just 30 minutes away by Hovercraft and bus).
Our convenient location is easy to reach – we are directly opposite the central train station, with Gatwick airport just 90 minutes away by train or car. Portsmouth is also linked, by ferry, directly to France and Spain.
